This oolong is a special hand picked“Dong Ding” also known as Frozen Peak tea from the Tsay family in Taiwan. They have been producing tea for generations. The founder of TsayTea Victoria Tsay is Taiwanese American and tea is what helped her stay close with her family despite the large distance between them. This tea is super accessible and sweet, with notes of puffed rice and cream. It was noted from multiple tea professionals during tastings to be the perfect tea for traveling as it reminds them of home, coziness, or nostalgia - Hence the name “Home”.
It is also incredibly forgiving and can be prepared 190-212F (roughly 90- 100C) without bringing out bitter or overwhelming tannic notes. It is a hug in a cup
