Yabukita Black

Yabukita is the most popular tea cultivar in Japan. It makes up over 75% of the Japanese tea market by land area!

This cup is produced by one of our favorite tea partners Hiroki Matsumoto. Grown using a centuries old sustainable agricultural practice called “chabusaba”, It has a great balance of tannin and brown bourbon sweetness, making it accessible but with enough bite to be interesting and complex. A super smooth cup with some thickness.
