How do we know this gaiwan is great?
This is the standard gaiwan used at all of The Workshop's live tea shows and markets. After trialing through a massive amount of similar gaiwans, many chipping or not handling regular use well, this one stood the test of time.
We know it doesn't easily chip because we handle these heavily and are constantly knocking into them as tea professionals. We know they don't stain and are easy to clean, because we steep every type of tea in them and we do so often. They are work horses that get the job done. Wether you are new to gong fu or more experienced looking for a reliable everyday steeper - this is a great choice. It is a classic gaiwan with a decently sized rim and includes a unique saucer.
The Workshop Gaiwan is produced in the city of Jingdezhen in Eastern China and can hold 150 ml of water.
