This is a super special, experimental, and rare tea.
This small batch white tea was barrel aged in Koval gin barrel as a collaboration with our Tea Partner VolitionTea and Koval Distillery in Chicago. This white tea was placed into a KOVAL gin barrel and aged for 90 days. Upon emerging the tea has taken on blooming botanical garden notes of juniper berries, grapefruit, and honey
The Workshop was lucky enough to use the aging barrel in one of our Summer cocktail events where we served this white tea with Koval's Cranberry Gin. Truly a crowd favorite.
Preparation:
4-5 Grams - 185F (85C) - 12-16 oz -
1 min initial steeping time + 20 sec additional time increment for more than 1 steeping
