Yerba Mate

A traditional South American beverage, yerba maté is a naturally caffeinated infusion made from the leaves of a holly-family plant - not technically a tea.

This organic yerba maté comes from small-scale production in Brazil, where the plants grow integrated within native forest.

Biennial harvesting allows for strong regeneration and a respectful relationship with the surrounding ecosystem. Dried without smoke, this maté has a herbaceous, frank, pleasantly bitter character. Evenly cut leaves produce a balanced infusion with minimal residue.
